Nigel Leadbitter – Executive Director

April 26, 2009 By

Nigel is uniquely placed to offer Outplacement advice to organisations and support to Participants on Career Transition Management programs. He is one of only a handful of people in Australia who has been on the client–side of numerous factory closures and organisational restructuring and downsizing exercises as the Human Resources Director, been a Participant on a CTM program, been a Consultant working for an Outplacement/CTM firm, and been a Consultant operating in the Recruitment sector.

Prior to HunterBligh, Nigel operated for many years as a Senior Consultant in three related portfolios of the HR sector; outplacement, assessment and recruitment. Although most of his efforts were devoted to the burgeoning outplacement sector with Audrey Page & Associates, Nigel has provided consultancy services for Human Chemistry, an Executive Assessment business and BKP Search & Selection, an Executive Recruitment business, as well as general human resources consulting. Nigel is a past Non Executive Director of the job and career site, www.jobx.com.au

Nigel’s corporate career included the role of Human Resources Director at Kellogg (Aust/NZ), the US global consumer goods business, employing approximately 900 people across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this he was Human Resources Director at Snack Foods Ltd, a wholly Australian owned listed business of about 1000 people, with icon brands including Thins, CC’s, Samboy and Cheezels, that grew rapidly until its acquisition by Arnott’s. Nigel was HR Manager for CSR Sugar and Industrial Relations Officer with the Printing Employers Federation earlier in his career.

Nigel holds a Bachelor of Business (Personnel & Industrial Relations) and is a Member of AHRI and an Associate Fellow of AIM.
